Juniper unit 7 Butte view-creek-big yard-hot tub-pet friendly 10 min DT Durango!

Our time here was great! Durango had a lot of family friendly places and activities to do. The house was perfect for large parties we arrived on a Sunday and stayed through Friday. Plenty of restrooms and kitchens and lots of seating and gathering places. We were a family of 14 and could have easily added a few more people to our group in this house. We did have a plumbing issues on day one, the host were on it and had plumbers out that night. It took a little time but host communicated with us well and we were back up and running with full usage of all restrooms and kitchens by Tuesday night. Host sent out cleaning crew to sanitize and restock towels, which was wonderful. I would also like to add that this house was so well stocked including crockpot, espresso machine, ninja and more. Also plenty of paper towels, detergent, trash bags and so on. It was so nice to not have to worry about the little things with such a big group. For those who are interested in wildlife the following animals were spotted by various people in our group at the house:-Black bear-Deer and fawn- Prairie dog- lots of birds- Rafter of turkeys- one run in with a beautiful fox literally ran into my dad in the middle of the night on the front porch So many great memories were made!!! Durango Escape sums up a fantastic week. Our family included all ages from kiddos to grandparents. The house worked out beautifully with plenty of spaces to be all together along with quiet spots to read a book or catch up on work. We are a family that likes to cook together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Outside cooking included a Gas grill, a pellet grill and a Blackstone. No one had experience with a Blackstone so we jumped right in cooking whole meals for the 13 of us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. So many things to do in the Durango area. Trails for biking and hiking, floating in the Animas River, swimming at Lake Nighthorse, the train to Silverton or a trip to Mesa Verde National Park.We appreciated how easy it was to contact our host. She was knowledgeable about the house and area.

This property is beautifully appointed with every kitchen utensil you could possibly need. We were able to spread out for quiet personal time and had plenty of space to gather for meals, games and conversation. With two younger kids along the outdoor spaces gave us room to play ball and generally run around. We didn’t bring a pet but thought we could have with no difficulty. Thank you for a wonderful birthday trip!

We had a wonderful experience. House was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the property, creek, and Mountain views. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could possibly need. Hot tub was a fun way to unwind after days of hiking and exploring in Durango.
